Hello, and thank you for joining me. I’m Andrew Robertson. Right now, I’ve finished Third-Year Geomatics Engineering at York University in Toronto. Some of the things I enjoy are transit trivia and local history. To that end, when I’m new in an area or have some free time, I like to go exploring. I’ll wander around, and see what I can discover. Which makes me think: “I like to be well-informed, and, I think other people should be too”. Which is why, if someone asks for help or advice, I’ll gladly assist them to the best of my ability. As a friend of mine said: “knowledge not shared is knowledge lost”.

Because I appreciate history, I like to see where things come from, and why things are the way they are. I appreciate other people’s work, and I think that from this, we can learn how to better deal with similar situations in the future. Learning from past experiences, even others’, is important. That’s why, as a current member of the Geomatics Club at the university, I am documenting everything and making sure that we (hopefully) have a more open and inviting “club attitude”. It is important to create an encouraging atmosphere.

Well, those are some of the things that make me me. I hope you enjoyed, and have a good day! Be seeing you.
